Install the 'Microsoft Remote Desktop Application for Mac' from the Apple App Store.
Once installed open the application and click the 'Add PC' button.
In the 'Add PC' dialog box enter the PC name in the field, this should include the full domain name (e.g. cmpsci-xx.uea.ac.uk).
For 'User account' enter 'UEA\xxx00xxx' where xxx00xxx is your UEA username.
Click on the 'Gateway' dropdown, and select 'Add Gateway...' and fill in the values below.

Then click Add to close the 'Add a Gateway' dialog.
On the main 'Add PC' page click 'Add'.
Before connecting you need to enable connections for your account via https://rdgguard.cmp.uea.ac.uk .

After this you can connect with the remote desktop client.
From the main remote desktop app you and click on the connection you configured earlier and select 'Connect' from the menu that appears.
It will start connecting, and ask you to enter a username and password.
This is your normal UEA username and password, but with UEA\before the username (e.g. UEA\xxx00xxx).
